I felt somewhat of a responsibility to share this day I was lucky enough to be able to spend with my Mum, who took me on a mother-daughter excursion to the Park Hyatt in the city. We had a three hour session of remedial massages, detoxing facials, manicures and a dip in their roof top pool. Apart from obviously feeling ridiculously spoiled and pampered, these few hours that I got to spend with my Mum felt like a luxury on so many other levels. I don’t get to see her often but the few days a year that I do mean the world to me.

Sometimes living on the other side of the globe can seem like a curse. And moments like these are things I hold on to forever, and think back on everyday until I get to see her again.

If you guys are ever looking to get spoiled rotten, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
